Supper is the culmination of a lifelong dream for chef/owner Karen Hayes. The Chatham resident grew up in Staten Island the daughter of a well known and very successful restaurateur. Since as far back as she can remember, she has been surrounded by great cooking in a family atmosphere with loyal customers transcending generations. All her life she dreamed of following in her father’s footsteps to create her own unique culinary experience. As Karen and her husband Tim raised their family of four boys, she held on to her dream and continued to refine her by now well known talent for creating wonderful dishes.
On December 14th, 2007 Karen’s dream finally came true with the opening of Supper. Situated in the center of beautiful and historic downtown Chatham, Supper has a charming coziness set in a circa 1941 restaurant. Karen’s vision of combining wonderful food in a homey atmosphere is apparent as soon as you are welcomed at the door. The family influence is evident as you’ll see the Hayes boys working under their Mom’s watchful eye and Tim making the rounds to ensure that all guests will have a great dining experience.
